Russia to raise wheat export duty to $39/tn for September 1–7

MOSCOW, Aug 27 (PRIME) -- Russia’s wheat export duty will grow to U.S. $39.4 per tonne from $31.7, the barley duty to $27 per tonne from $26.6, and the corn duty to $51.6 per tonne from $49.6 from September 1 through September 7, as seen by PRIME in the Agriculture Ministry’s materials on Friday.

The duty is calculated basing on the indicative prices of $256.4 per tonne of wheat, $223.7 per tonne of barley, and $258.8 per tonne of corn.

Since June, Russia has been using a flexible system of duty calculation for the grains.
